The virus has also come to India and slowly but steadily, panic is spreading in our country as well. In such times, one should stay calm and do the right things to prevent the coronavirus and immediately report symptoms of coronavirus disease. It’s easy for such diseases to spread so if you think you have coronavirus symptoms, take appropriate action immediately. See a doctor the minute you notice coronavirus signs and symptoms in yourself or family members. Then, stay indoors or in isolation if advised.

Coronavirus symptoms!

Watch out for a common cough and cold in such times. These are the basic coronavirus symptoms in humans along with a fever and general fatigues and shortness of breath. Basically, any symptoms that you’d see in a common flu are matters of worry, and you should consult a doctor if you have any of these coronavirus signs and symptoms. However, don’t wait too long when you notice these symptoms. A recent study shows us that it may take between 2-14 days for coronavirus symptoms to show up after first exposure to the virus. In fact, it may take up to 5 days for people with corona symptoms to start worrying. So, don’t delay when you feel these symptoms, as you don’t want it to be too late. You should be especially worried if you recently associated with someone who had COVID-19 or even what you believed was a common flu. Awareness for coronavirus symptoms in humans is being promoted everywhere, and you shouldn’t take it too lightly. Research and find out which hospitals in India are treating coronavirus and make a visit there as soon as possible.

Coronavirus diagnosis!

Contact your family doctor when you’re worried you may be showing coronavirus symptoms. However, call and inform him/her before going so that he can do the necessary preparations before you get there. It will also give the doctor time to get the required guidance details before you reach. If he suggests further testing, get it done and also remember to self-isolate yourself if he recommends the need. This will help avoid the spread of the disease to other family and society members. Currently, no vaccine or treatment is said to have been found for coronavirus. The only thing you can do is do as your doctor says and wait for it to go away on its own. Remember, there’s no need to panic. While there are 3,000+ deaths from across the world, there are also 200% more cases that have recovered from the disease and are pretty healthy at the moment.

Rest!

Much like you would do for any other common flu, make sure you drink plenty of enriching fluids and get enough of bed rest. Also, this will have to be done in isolation if your doctor recommends the same. The last thing you want is to spread the virus among your friends and family as well. When coughing or sneezing, use a tissue and avoid coughing into your hands. All the droplets will be transferred to your hands, and the latter come in contact with your face and other family members very often. Also, for those with coronavirus symptoms, wear a mask to avoid spreading the disease. It’s also recommended that those who don’t have the COVID-19 symptoms don’t wear the N95 masks.
